Robert H. Greenblatt of Foxborough, MA, formerly of Boynton Beach, Florida, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 85 years of age.

He was the son of the late Ina (Rosenberg) Gilbert of Brookline, MA, the most beloved husband of 61 years to Harriet (Josephson) Greenblatt and devoted father of Pamela and Christopher Paci of Lowell and Seth Greenblatt of Medway. Bob was also the adored uncle of Beverly Shlager of Boynton Beach, Florida and Susan and James Sherman of Stoughton, MA.

He spent a fulfilling career in Education as a College Professor, spending 34 years as a Professor of History at Massachusetts Bay Community College in Wellesley and also for 20 years as an adjunct Professor of Government at Bentley University in Waltham.

His retirement was joyously spent attending life-long learning classes, enjoying his love of reading, his men’s breakfast club, and cheering on the Boston Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics.

Services will be held on Sunday, September 28th at Noon at the Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street, Canton, MA. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 120 Canton Street, Sharon, MA.

Shiva will be held following burial until 8:00 p.m. at the home of Susan and James Sherman, and continuing Monday and Tuesday at his late residence.

Bob will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
