Carole Goodman of E. Bridgewater, formerly of Randolph, passed away peacefully on Sept. 26, 2025 at 86 years of age.
She was the devoted daughter of the late Sydney Schlossberg and the late Frances (Fay) Schlossberg; the dear sister of Judith Grobman and her husband James; the loving wife of the late Allan Goodman and mother of Marci Goodman and her partner Kevin Jordan, Maura Rogers and her husband Larry; and the cherished grandmother of Taylor Masse and her husband Mike, Dylan Rogers and great-grandmother of Crew and Haven Masse.
Carole was outgoing, open-minded, and possessed an adventurous spirit. She loved trying new foods, traveling to new places, and joining in new activities. She made a practice of saying yes to whatever opportunities life offered her. Though she modeled and taught dance and modeling as a young woman, she found her calling in retail, working at Jordan Marsh, which later became Macy’s, first in fine jewelry, then cosmetics, and finally in fragrances. She was in her element behind the counter, engaging with customers.
For the last dozen years of her life, Carole lived with her daughter Maura in E. Bridgewater in a four-generation household in which she was the matriarch. The numerous family members and friends she leaves behind mourn her loss and feel gratitude for their place in her life.
There will be a funeral service and burial held at the Shara Tfilo Cemetery, 776 baker St., West Roxbury, beginning at 11:00AM.
Shiva will take place at the home of Maura & Larry Rogers, immediately following the burial on Tuesday afternoon, until 4pm and again from 6-8pm. Shiva will continue on Wednesday from 12-4pm at the home as well.
