One of it's Kind
a place of Serenity, peace & refuge.
Where families gather for sympathy, support and shared memories.
The Chapel On the Hill is a Canton Historic Landmark built in 1897 by the Canton Historical Episcopal Congregation. The Schlossberg family purchased the property in the early 1970's and has nurtured and maintained as much of the Chapels original detail as possible. The classic wood vaulted New England Chapel with original stained glass windows, medieval Spanish style chandeliers and unique ceramic mural of the Wailing Wall seats over two hundred guests comfortably. The Chapel with its inverted ceiling in the form of a ship's hull and surrounding wood work made of extinct New England wormwood provides a sense of beauty and serenity unique among funeral homes in the state and the nation. The chapel and its offices are certified handicapped accessible.
