Date of Funeral

July 19, 2026
Andrew Mark Horvit (Andy)  passed away at the age of 79 on July 15, 2026 after a lengthy illness.
He was the son of Albert  and Sylvia Horvit. Andy was the beloved soulmate and husband of Donna for 31 years. He was a beloved stepfather and proud  Papa/ Pa of 5, and a great Pa of 2.
When he wasn’t working with Donna at their food business he loved to golf, bowl and eat at the old Christo’s in the Gold Room. Andy loved to travel and drive to Prince Edward Island, Florida Keys, and many trips around New England including seeing the first sunrise in Bar Harbor to the winter equinox in the Keys.
Andy was a die hard Red Sox fan and was a master beekeeper who won a blue ribbon for his honey. Our Giant Cashews were in the movie “The Departed.” He was a hard worker who took pride in his work and ran a  successful business for over 40 years.  Andy loved the 4th of July and was patriotic.
As the family weatherman Andy loved watching  snowstorms and was stranded during the Blizzard of ‘78 for 3 days in Canton, MA.
Andy will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Andrew’s name may be made to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054 – 603.595.5688 (www.hhhc.org)

To my husband, thank you for making me the woman I am today. We were a great team and worked very hard together to achieve our goals. Living and working together is a hard thing to do, but we believed in each other and always supported each other. I loved our years together, Friday’s were our dinner at Christo’s and dancing at Capeway. We laughed a lot at each other and ourselves. So much fun, I miss you so much and wish for one more Friday night. I love you always and forever. My song to you is Natural Woman, because that’s how you made me feel. Your wife forever, Donna
