Harvey Wolf, 74, of Hull and Sharon passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026 surrounded by family after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a devoted husband of Cathee Wolf for 41 years.
The loving father of Jessica (Jonathan) Neipris of Mansfield and Robert Wolf of Easton. Proud Papa of Samuel and Madison Neipris. He was predeceased by his parents Philip and Sarah Wolf. Born and raised in Mattapan, he remained proud of his Boston roots throughout his life.
Harvey attended Framingham State College and graduated as a history major but never taught a day in his life. Through his Deli connections, he landed in the retail field and later transitioned into the commercial food equipment industry.
After moving to Randolph and joining Temple Beth Am, Harvey became involved in the temple community and embraced Jewish life as a regular volunteer organizing various activities like Bingo and Brotherhood.
In 1984, he met the love of his life, Cathee and they were married in 1985. In 1987 their daughter Jessica was born and Robert arrived shortly after in 1988. In 1991, the Wolf’s moved to Sharon where they settled to raise their children. Once in Sharon, Harvey quickly became involved in Temple Israel and was Brotherhood President, Keeper of the Flame, and Man of the Year.
One of Harvey’s favorite pastimes was going to Nantasket and he was fortunate enough to buy his dream home within walking distance of the beach in 2019.
Once again, Harvey immersed himself into Jewish life joining Temple Israel and Temple Beth Shalom of Hull and serving on the board at both. One of his greatest accomplishments was creating the Yom HaShoah program in the early 80s which he recently introduced to Temple Beth Shalom. The Men’s Jewish Federation eventually took over the “Yellow Candle Program” which has since grown to over 180 synagogues actively involved.
Harvey was a devoted husband, father, friend, and colleague and the world is a far better place because of his spirit, kindness, humor, and compassion.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 10:00AM at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow the funeral at Sharon Memorial Park.
Shiva will be Tuesday following interment until 4PM and then again 7-9PM and continuing Wednesday, July 22, 2026 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at the home of Jessica and Jon Neipris in Mansfield. There will be a Ma’ariv minyan at both evening shivas.

I worked across the hall from his office and after I found out about the jokes he told I asked for a daily joke. Every morning he’s come to my office and tell one. What a nice man and your family was blessed to have someone in your family with such a great personality. So sorry for your loss. Harvey will forever be remembered.

July 22, 2026 at 5:07 pmJust wanna say Harvey, your husband your dad was tremendous. Individual didn’t have a bad bone in his body. From way back in the days of Dave’s drugstore on the corner of Fessenden street we’re Harvey. It was a main state always helping Dave out with prescriptions in the soda counter is always in there. That’s why I got out of the army and Harvey was always around then of course him being at the beach all the time might’ve been a second love beside his family and job always pleasant always funny always brought a smile to everyone’s face. You will be miss greatly. you’re lucky to have him for the time that you did and I’m sure we’ll always remember. It’s humor and kindness. He was also a wonderful service.
