Gerald Shulman July 14, 2026

Date of Funeral

July 23, 2026

Gerald Shulman, age 91, passed away peacefully in Greensboro, Georgia.  He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and a life well lived, one defined by joy, connection, lifelong friendships, and unforgettable moments.

Gerald grew up in Dorchester, Massachusetts.  He worked in the footwear industry in the Boston area, raised his family in Stoughton, and later moved to New Seabury.  He had a gift for bringing people together.  He was one of those rare people who could say just about anything to anyone and somehow leave everyone laughing.  Whether it was a neighborhood bar, a boardroom, or a special event, he had a way of becoming the center of attention.  He lived life with a smile on his face, a cigar in his hand, and a joke always ready.

Above all else, Gerald was deeply devoted to his beloved wife, Roselyn.  Every day, right up until his last day, he told her he loved her.  He was the proud father of three children who adored him, and he taught them the importance of honesty, integrity, loyalty, and treating people the right way.  May he rest in peace.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Bessie and Irving Shulman, daughter, Lynda Shulman, and brother, Elliot Shulman.  He is survived by his wife, Roselyn Shulman, sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Laura Shulman and Steven and Rita Shulman, brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Sheila Shulman, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
