We will miss Rose’s contributions to our book club. Rose’s insightful observations were always on target and sparked interesting discussions. There will be an empty chair at our roundtable.

Rose was an avid reader who taught many of us at the Brockton Public Library book discussion group to read every word between the covers of a book, and to thoughtfully ponder the meaning of each sentence! Rose’s spirit of lifelong learning will linger long with those of us privileged to discuss books with her. We send our condolences to all of Rose’s family and friends, and especially to Barry for helping Rose to attend our meetings over Zoom during the pandemic, and in person — long before we heard of Zoom.
