Cawley, Phyllis (Cohen), formerly of Canton, passed peacefully on February 3rd, 2023. She leaves her beloved husband of 48 years, Peter. Devoted mother to Kathryn Klotz (Gregory), of Walpole, MA, and Matthew Cawley (Laurel), of Canton, MA. Adored grandmother of Margaret and Robert Klotz of Walpole and of Joseph Buddy and Peter of Canton. She also leaves behind many loving friends and family.
Phyllis was happiest being with her husband, working in her beautiful garden, and spending time with her cherished friends. Humarock Beach was her favorite place to be, and she spent many summers collecting seaglass, chasing her children and grandchildren on the sand, and watching the sunset. She loved her golden retriever, Palfrey Pete, and especially loved her four grandchildren, who were the light of her life and made her heart sing everyday.
She made everyone in her life feel special, important, and loved.
Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at 10:00 AM, at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill at 824 Washington Street, Canton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Phyllis’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
