A graduate of Boston and Hofstra universities, she spent her professional career in higher education beginning as Assistant Publicity Director at Colby-Sawyer College, New London, N.H. She left N.H. to become Assistant Director of Public Relations at Emerson College where she was instrumental in establishing the Emerson College Parents Association. She returned to Massachusetts, settling into her new life at Orchard Cove, a retirement community in Canton. During her years there, new friendships were forged and life-long friendships renewed.
Paula leaves her much-loved family on Long Island, her cousins in Maryland and Massachusetts, as well as her extended, adopted family in Massachusetts and New York whose support and love sustained her over a lifetime. Paula will be lovingly remembered by family and friends for her thoughtful ways. There was no holiday too big or small that didn’t warrant a card and a handwritten note from her, and she always made sure to let her loved ones know they were in her thoughts and heart.
