Paul L. Kreitzberg October 13, 2025

Date of Funeral

October 20, 2025

Paul Kreitzberg, beloved husband, father, grandfather, engineer, veteran, gadget guy, pool shark and latke legend passed away peacefully on Monday October 13, 2025 at the age of 88.

Raised in Sharon, Massachusetts Paul attended Northeastern University where he earned a degree in Engineering. He brought that same curiosity and inventiveness into every part of his life – whether fixing a toaster that wasn’t broken to “make it better” or creating one of his many gadgets that no one asked for but everyone ended up using!

Paul proudly served in the Army Reserve and remained active in veterans’ organization throughout his life. He was a generous neighbor and friend known for showing up whenever someone needed a hand. In his community of Oak Point, he volunteered with Helping Hands where his can-do attitude made a difference to everyone around him.

He shared 50 wonderful years with his beloved wife Phyllis. Together they were a perfect team – on the dance floor, on the open seas and in life. Square dancing was their favorite pastime when they weren’t on the ocean making countless memories and friends on one of the 30 cruises they took exploring the world one buffet and dance floor at a time.

Paul was also known for his love of pool, never leaving home without his cue “just in case a game broke out”. And every Chanukah, his family gathered for his famous potato latkes – a recipe no one could quite replicate!

He is survived by his wife Phyllis, his son Michael, daughter Tina and her husband Arthur Mallock and two cherished grandchildren, David and his wife Dina and Benjamin.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, October 20 at 1:00 pm at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street, Canton. Burial at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon to follow.

Paul is my cousin by marriage. My husband and I moved into Oak Point based on the recommendation that Phyllis and Paul gave us. Both of them did everything for us. They showed us around town. They taught me how to use the amenities at OP. Paul was exceptionally nice to me. He always called me his family. He did millions of favors for me. I will miss him very much. ~Shelley Taylor~
