Marilyn Goldberg Pearlman March 20, 2026

Date of Funeral

March 22, 2026

Marilyn Goldberg Pearlman of Natick and most recently of Mashpee Cape Cod, formerly of Willimantic, CT passed away on March 20, 2026 at the way too young age of 84.

She was born on February 8th as the beloved daughter to the late Virginia and Leo Goldberg. She was married for 52 years to the love of her life, the late Harvey Pearlman, pre-deceased in 2018.

She leaves behind her three children, Kerri Lyford and her husband Larry of Marston’s Mills, Craig Pearlman of Palmer, and Ginny Cushman and her husband Wes of Canton. She has adoring grandchildren Ryan, Samantha and Shea Pearlman, Lilly and Nicholas Cushman and Emily Lyford.

Marilyn was a no-nonsense person with boundless energy who was loved by all. She had a successful career in Real Estate for several decades. She was honest, confident and everyone wanted to be her friend. She was a self-proclaimed Sauvignon Blanc snob and her nightly popcorn and glass of wine gave her immense pleasure. Her social life was much more active than her children and she was undoubtable a “cool kid” in her community.

She was also a golf enthusiast and had many years of weekly nine and dine with her “golf girls”. She was a competitive Mahjong and Canasta Player and went on a Mahjong Cruise. Marilyn went out to dinner every Saturday night with her “Sorority Sisters” aka other single retirees. She loved to travel, was an avid reader and was hoping to see the world. Her trips to Israel and Italy in her recent years were immensely gratifying. She also enjoyed her weekly Mother-Daughter outings during the summer. She was envied for her sense of style, her perfect nails, and fun-loving attitude.

Her funeral service will be held at 12:30PM, Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the Falmouth Jewish Congregation, 7 Hatchville Road, East Falmouth with the interment to follow next door at the Falmouth Jewish Cemetery.

Shiva will be held at the home of Ginny and Wes Cushman on Sunday, 3:30–7PM and continuing on Monday, 2– 6PM.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in Marilyn’s memory to the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, giving.massgeneral.org/donate/cancer-center or a charitable organization of one’s choosing.

Don and I were devastated when we heard the news. Sorry we are unable to attend the funeral and shiva. We have so many wonderful memories of MP and HP. We shared so many great times with them and your family. She was so brave when she initially was told her horrible diagnoses. Glad we were able to go to the Cape and see her over the years. Our heartfelt condolences to your family. We know how much she loved all of you and how proud she was of all of you. RIP my beautiful friend. Doris and Don Epstein
