Our family mourns the passing of Linda Joyce (Stone) Goldberg, formerly of Boston, Massachusetts, long time Mansfield, Massachusetts resident and recently residing in Pawtucket, Rhode Island entered into rest on June 23, 2026 at the age of 82.
Linda graduated Boston Latin High School and then graduated Boston State College (UMASS Boston) with a Bachelor’s Degree in English.
Linda went back into the workforce after raising her 3 children (Peter, Marc and Joshua) and was a substitute teacher for the Mansfield, Massachusetts Public School system for over 20 years.
Linda leaves behind her husband Steven Goldberg of 58 years and their children Peter, Marc and Joshua, Daughter in law’s Adele and Valerie and grandchildren Chase, Lexia, Indy, Brodie and Ellery. She also leaves behind her siblings Robert Stone and Deborah Stone and will join her sister Harriet Tabachnick in Heaven.
A giant Thank You to Harriet’s children (Linda’s Nieces) Michele Hynes, Marla Webby and Alyssa Tabachnick for including Linda and Steven at Family gatherings and hosting her 80th birthday celebration.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful nurses and doctors at Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island who provided such special care, comfort, respect and dignity.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday June 29, 2026 at 10am at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street, Canton, Massachusetts.
