Joanne (Sacks) Freedman, of Stoughton died Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at 81 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Alvin Freedman. Loving mother of Lisa Freedman and her wife Janine of Weymouth, Hayley Cohen and her husband Gary of South Easton and Jana Sherman and her husband Scott of West Bridgewater. Cherished grandmother of Samantha and Rachel. Dear sister of Lewis Sacks of Stoughton and the late Harvey Sacks.
Joanne was a marvelous cook and co-owned J&B Catering for several years. Her passion for delicious food was a gift and enjoyed by her entire family and well beyond. If you needed a recipe, chances are Joanne could furnish it! In her later years, she stayed sharp by completing cross-word puzzles, reading, and watching thought provoking games shows. Joanne was an incredibly kind, generous and loving person who will be endlessly missed by all who knew her.
Graveside services to be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 42 Dedham Street, Sharon at a later date due to the ongoing pandemic. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
