Jack M. Fishbone of Delray Beach, Florida, previously from Newton, Massachusetts, and Framingham, Massachusetts, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022, with his family at his bedside.

Jack was born January 9th, 1943, in New London, Connecticut, to Alec and Goldie Bruckner Fishbone of blessed memory.

It was in the salt air of New London that Jack developed his love for the ocean and beach and a life-long fascination with motorboats. From an early age, Jack assisted in the family’s grocery store where he developed a strong work ethic. He earned his electronics degree from Ward Institute at the University of Hartford in 1965 and would spend his career among the circuit boards of Digital Equipment Corporation, Honeywell, and other Massachusetts-based companies along the Route 128 tech corridor.

In Massachusetts, Jack met Phyllis Resnick, the love of his life. The couple married in 1967 and settled down to raise a family. They lived in the communities of Malden, Newton, and Framingham, Massachusetts before ultimately retiring to Delray Beach, Florida.

Jack is survived by his wife, Phyllis Resnick Fishbone, children Greg Fishbone and Lisa Leger, and two grandchildren, Alexi and Jaida Fishbone. He is mourned by daughter-in-law Dori Fishbone, son-in-law Guy Leger, extended family, and countless friends made through a selfless and considerate nature that always put others at ease.

A funeral service will be conducted graveside at Sharon Memorial Park in Sharon, Massachusetts on Sunday, May 1st, 2022, at 1:45PM.

The family will be sitting shiva at the home of Greg and Dori Fishbone in Groton, Massachusetts, on Sunday night and via Zoom on Monday and Tuesday nights.

A funeral service will be conducted graveside at Sharon Memorial Park in Sharon, Massachusetts on Sunday, May 1st, 2022, at 1:45PM.

The family will be sitting shiva at the home of Greg and Dori Fishbone in Groton, Massachusetts, on Sunday night and via Zoom on Monday and Tuesday nights.
