Simon, Anita formerly of Brookline and Canton, MA, passed away on October 4, 2021, at the age of 90. She was the devoted daughter of the late Morris and Pauline Simon. Loving sister of the late Ina and Jeremiah Greenglass. Loving Aunt of Barry Greenglass, Laura Johnson (Greenglass) and Shelley Greenglass as well as Great Aunt to Maureen Tolan and her husband David and Zachary Coughlin and Great Great Aunt to Hawk Jeremiah Tolan.
After retiring from the Quincy School system, Anita had a wonderful life filled with travel, adventure and family. Anita was an avid Celtics fan, she loved the theater, traveling the world and playing bridge and mahjong with her friends. Anita was involved with B’nai B’rith for many years. She was a party planner extraordinaire her functions and galas were always a success.
Services for Anita will be held at the Schlossberg Chapel, 824 Washington St, Canton, MA on Thursday, October 7th at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St, Sharon, MA.
