Albert Maynard White September 26, 2026

Albert Maynard White, known as Maynard to family and friends, 90, of Ashland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center.

 

He was the beloved husband of Roberta Prenovitz for 31 years and son of the late Nathan and Ruth White. He was preceded in death by siblings Daniel White and Beverly Myers.

 

Maynard grew up in Norwood and lived in both Framingham and Ashland. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University and his master’s degree from Bentley University after which he earned his CPA. He served as a Captain of the United States Army Reserve and performed special services for the Army at the Pentagon. He spent over 60 years as a respected CPA and was known for his dedication and loyalty to his clients and family. Maynard loved his wife of 31 years and cherished his time with his grandchildren.

 

Maynard is survived by his three children, Philip White, Jonathan White, and Suzanne Alepidis; his three stepchildren, Mark Prenovitz, Amy Prenovitz, and Jill Vetstein; their spouses, Philip Huang, Heidi White, Strato  Alepidis, Amie Davis, and Jeff Vetstein; and eight grandchildren, Sarah, Shayna, Joshua, Evan, Diana, Daniel, Kayla, and Mira.

 

Maynard will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering integrity, and love for his family. His laughter, sense of humor, and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew him.

 

The funeral will take place at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021 on September 30, 2026, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA 02067.

 

Shiva will be held at the home of Jill & Jeff Vetsein immediately following the burial through 6PM and continuing Thursday, 6-8PM.
