Carlos Guerschuny of Quincy, MA passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on September 21, 2026 under hospice care at the age of 83.
Carlos is survived by his beloved wife Shelley Kay Cohen of 34 years as well as his dear children: Gavin and wife Kelly Guerschuny of Canton, MA, Fabio and wife Danielle Guerschuny of Bridgewater, MA, and Spencer Guerschuny of Quincy. He is also remembered by his treasured grandchildren: Cameron, Chloe, Fabio Jr., Jordan and Adriana. Carlos was loved by his brothers and sisters-in-law Dr. Steven & Pat Cohen, Roberta Cohen, Mara Rosengurt, and niece Claudia & Steven Powers and niece Debbie Rosengurt and great-niece Jacqueline Powers.
Carlos was born in Buenos Aires to Wulf & Berta (Fishman) Guerschuny. He was a gifted Salesman and Gold Leaf Artisan frames while working at Guido Gallery and Frame Studio on Newbury St. in Boston. Many of the Gold Leaf frames are hanging in Museums across the world.
Carlos was an accomplished Domino player and played at work daily. He announced his victory by slamming his last domino loudly on the table. He was a Classic Car enthusiast, especially classic Mercedes Benz. He was an individual who loved spending time with family and friends and was continually in touch with those back home in Argentina. He was an active and dedicated member of the Braintree Gun and Rifle Club. He loved FIFA soccer and you could hear his GOALLLLLL for miles when Argentina won.

A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 2PM at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington St., Canton, MA with interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon, MA. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Carlos’ life.
