Dear Beverly, Paul, Zachary and Maria,
Karen and I were so blessed to enjoy a memorable dinner and wine tasting with Adam in Burlington in October 2021. Even though that is less than a year ago, it was an evening we will never forget. It was the first time we have seen Adam in more than 10 years. In that time, he grew to be a young adult in so many ways. What was most striking was his poise, his confidence, his spirit and his mood. This was not the same person from when we spent time together in Cape Cod and on his dad’s boat. He had evolved into his own unique style. He ordered and brought to us an amazing selection of outstanding wines and a variety of incredible dishes that were the specialty of Dedalus Wine Bar, where he worked. Given his father’s culinary talent and knowledge, we were touched how Adam was following in his dad’s footsteps…but in his own way. His love for the Vermont lifestyle, the outdoors and outdoors activity was so clear. Adam’s passing is a shock to my system and leaves me deeply appreciating him and missing him. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.
