Linda Forest Levenbaum, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026 in Hyannis, Massachusetts at the age of 84. In her final days she was lovingly surrounded by her family. She was married to her devoted husband, Jim with whom they built a beautiful life together over 63 years of marriage. They raised their family in Simsbury, Connecticut. They shared experiences and made memories during their time spent in Arizona and Florida, but Cape Cod is where they call home. Linda was born October 31, 1941 in Lynn, Massachusetts to Solomon and Anne Forest. She was the dear sister of Bonnie Bobroff and the late Gail Forest.

A mother who was deeply loved by her children, Jodi Karlins (Gregg), Shari Spillane (Mike) and Michael Levenbaum (Jennifer Del Boccio). A grandmother who was loved beyond measure by her nine grandchildren: Rachel Regni (Gian), Rebecca Volmer (Scott), Samantha Spillane, Alyssa Karlins, Stephanie Karlins, Jared Spillane, Kylie Spillane, Ethan Levenbaum and Alexandra Levenbaum. She was also a great grandmother to Stella and Leo Regni. She was totally devoted to her family. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life. She shared a special and enduring bond with her children and grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them and creating memories they will carry forever. Nothing brought her more joy throughout her years than spending time together, whether in person or over Facetime. 

A graveside service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon, MA on Sunday, August 16th at 11:45. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Linda’s life following the service, at 1 Erin Place, South Easton, Massachusetts.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda’s name to The Special Olympics Massachusetts, 51 Forest Street, Marlborough, MA 01752 or www.specialolympicsma.org. 

A graveside service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon, MA on Sunday, August 16th at 11:45.
