Dr. William J. Spitz, (Yaakov) of Norwell, formerly of Weymouth, passed away peacefully on June 14th surrounded by his loving family at the age of 75.
Dr. Spitz was a highly respected dentist in Marshfield Hills for many decades. He attended Boston College High School, Stonehill College and Georgetown University School of Dentistry.

He will be deeply missed.

June 16, 2022 at 11:43 amI just heard the sad news of Dr Spitz’s passing. Dr Spitz took great care of my family for many, many years – particularly my mother. I will always remember the special attention he gave my mother – even designing her dentures with her signature “Hurley split”! I even enjoyed my visits to his office (who can say they enjoy going to the dentist?). There were always a lot of laughs and great stories shared. He was truly a great guy.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

June 16, 2023 at 8:14 pmMy heartfelt condolences to you, Mary, and your family. For reasons unknown to me, I was thinking of you just last night with fond memories of our friendship when we lived in Scituate and decided to look you up today, only to discover Bill’s passing just two days ago. I am thankful to God for timing of those memories. Keeping you in my prayers.
