Shirley Gaber of Hull passed on March 6, 2024 at 101 years of age. She was the loving daughter of the late Julius and Zina Gaffin, beloved wife of the late Milton “Bernie” Gaber, loving mother of Dr. Edward Gaber & his wife Sabrina of Louisiana, M. Reina Gaber of Quincy & Susan Gaber of Hull; cherished grandmother of Jessica Kreiser & her husband Joshua of Maryland, David Gaber & his wife Jessica of New Jersey & Zoe Gaber of Louisiana; and five great granddaughters–Leah, Shayna, Emily, Laila & Jen, dear sister to the late Sidney Gaffin of Boston & the late Evelyn Chudnofsky of California. Also survived by many nieces & nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon on Friday, March 08 at 2:45PM. Please meet behind the administration building on the cemetery grounds prior to services.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Temple Beth Shalom, 600 Nantasket Avenue, Hull MA 02045 or the charity of your choice.

Shirley was quite a cracker jack and I know I will miss her along with many others that will as well, I was laughing about the time she called me over to the car when one of you girls was taking her out to the store and she handed me money for a Christmas gesture as she thought I was the blonde mail delivery women. Funny but it was nice cause the mail gal was at least 20 years my junior, but then not so good because she was also 20 pounds heavier than me. You girls were quite wonderful for taking care of your mom for all these years and I am sure you helped to extend her long life and also added happiness that many other of our elderly do not have the opportunity to enjoy such adoring daughters for so long.
