Sharon Cerullo April 8, 1951 - January 8, 2026

Date of Funeral

January 20, 2026

Sharon Cerullo (Swartz) tragically passed away on January 8, 2026. Sharon was one of the kindest and most loving people one could ever meet. Her warmth, generosity, and compassion touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Sharon was a devoted and loving mother to Jacob and Soleil, a cherished grandmother to Natalie and Naomi, and a beloved sister to Hazel and Steven. She was a caring aunt, a loving mother-in-law, and a loyal friend to so many. Family was the center of Sharon’s life, and she poured her heart into every role she held.

In her younger years, Sharon had a passion for art, riding her motorcycle, and traveling. She built a successful career at UPS, where she worked for over 20 years and formed many lifelong friendships. Sharon adored her children and took pride in being present for every stage of their lives. She was a dedicated Cub Scout, karate, dance, swim, soccer, and softball mom, always offering encouragement and support.

Sharon absolutely loved animals of all kinds and has many memories of her pet geese. She loved decorating her home, and cooking meals that brought people together. Her love for cooking lives on through her daughter and will continue to be passed down through generations. Throughout her life, she was known for her intelligence and incredibly witty humor. She loved history, watching law shows, and keeping up her style and fashion. She had a competitive spirit and even taught a chess club. Rest assured, she never lost a game.

Sharon was also known for her absolute selflessness and generosity. She would give the shirt off her back, open her home to those in need, and offer a comforting hug to anyone who needed one. Her laugh was infectious and her smile could brighten even the darkest days. Her presence made others feel safe and loved.

Sharon is survived by her son, daughter, sister, brother, grandchildren, son-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will live on in every memory shared, and every life forever changed by knowing her. She will be so heartbreakingly missed. May Sharon Cerullo rest in eternal and heavenly peace.

I met Sharon during an interview along with her son. I tried to reach out to speak with you after declining the position. Here we are I am so upset to hear of her passing. I am glad to know I did try to keep in contact with her, occasional telephone contact to check on her. My deepest prayers are knowing that we met, and I will always remember her. Irene
