Selma (Bricker) Rosen of Sharon formerly of Randolph and Weymouth passed away peacefully on Friday, September 23, 2022, at the age of 93.

A devoted daughter of the late Samuel & Fannie (Shore) Bricker. She was a beloved wife of the late Morris Rosen and loving mother of Kenneth and Robert, dear sister of the late Anne (Bricker) Cutler of Springfield and Pearl (Bricker) Smith of Omaha, Nebraska.

Selma was a loving aunt of Barbara and Ira Miller of Sharon and the late Elaine and George Marshall of Springfield, great aunt of Dawn and Gerald Williams, Monife Marshall, Michael and Paige Miller, Mark, Michael and Todd Smith.

Selma graduated the Jeremiah E. Burke High School. She then took courses to learn accounting and held a variety of positions before becoming a bookkeeper for Grossman Companies in Braintree where she spent many years until she retired.

Selma was a member of Temple Beth Am in Randolph. She enjoyed playing Mah Jong, being with her circle of friends and cooking for family.

Upon their retirements, Selma and Murray loved to travel. They took numerous trips to destinations which included, Israel, Hawaii, France, Italy, California and Florida as well as many local day trips.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm, Wednesday, September 28th, 2022, at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street in Canton, with the interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.

Shiva will be held at the home of Barbara Miller in Sharon immediately following the burial until 8 pm and Thursday evening between 6 and 8 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Selma’s memory to Old Colony Hospice -Philanthropy Office, 321 Manley Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379 www.oldcolonyhospice.org
