Samuel Goldsmith of Dedham, formerly of Canton and Randolph, passed away on Sunday, April 28th, 2024 at Newbridge on the Charles, he was 98 years old.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Krotman) Goldsmith, both immigrants from Romania. Samuel was the beloved husband of the late Phyllis (Wenberg) Goldsmith and the loving father of Arnold Goldsmith & his wife Bonnie of Beverly and Daniel Goldsmith & his wife Joyce of Hyannis and Parkland, FL, formerly of Stoughton, Cherished grandfather of Mindi & her husband Daniel Ruggiero, Barry Goldsmith, Scott Goldsmith & his wife Talia, Rochelle & her husband Dave Santos, Janell & her husband Jonathan Swift and was the proud great-grandfather of Zoe and Ella Ruggiero, Maya and Aviv Goldsmith, Desmond and Phoenix Santos and Lyla and Emma Swift. He was the dear brother of the late Dora & her late husband Samuel Drevitch, Eli Goldsmith & his late wife Adele and Jason Goldsmith and his surviving wife, Shirley “Honey” Goldsmith. Samuel is survived by his many nieces and nephews. He was in a loving relationship with his longtime companion, Ms. Cohen.
Services and burial are private.
