Sally was very sociable, an avid knitter, bargain shopper, and mahjongg player. She spent many of her summers on Nantasket Beach surrounded by family and friends, sitting on the beach in the afternoon, then adjourning to the beach house for happy hour. There will be many who will miss her.

We were very saddened to hear of Sally’s passing, and send our heart-felt condolonces to her enitre extended family. Sorry that distance kept us from attending in person, but I’m thankful we were able to listen in virtually. It brought to mind many of my own childhood memories of summers in Nantasket at the first generation (Atkins) beach house with all of the cousins and aunts and uncles (esp. Izzy, who was everyone’s favorite). And in later years, of chatting with my mother about her life growing up with her friend and dear cousin Sally. We will always fondly remember and miss her.
