Philip Prager Dine April 28, 2024

Philip Prager Dine, age 97, of Kingston, MA, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024 at home. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Harrison Dine, son David Dine his wife Debra, and daughters Andrea Dine her husband Jeffrey Wildstein, and Karin Barry and her husband Brian; his grandchildren Andrew Dine, Michael Dine, Jonathan Dine, Bryan Dine, Brandon Dine, Kaitlyn Kane, Jacob Barry, Nathan Barry and Ethan Barry, and eight great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents  H. Howard Dine and Bertha Dine, son Harold Dine and sister Nancy (Dine) Ruth.

Born in Newton, MA, Philip served in the Army during WWII in Panama, after which he earned his bachelor’s degree at Colby College, Class of ’50.  After a career in retail and finance, he retired to Kingston, MA. He spent the next 10 years as a volunteer at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Plymouth.

Philip’s funeral service will be held at 11AM, Friday, May 03, 2024, at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street in Canton, with the interment to follow at Adath Jeshurun Cemetery, 350 Grove Street, West Roxbury. The family will be receiving visitors at their home in Kingston, MA on Friday from 4-7pm.
