Milton J. Wolk of blessed memory, passed away peacefully at home on November 12, 2020. He was born and raised in Waltham. He lived for 60 years in Randolph. Milton graduated from Waltham High School and was quite an athlete in baseball, track and basketball. He was a proud Navy Veteran. He received Bachelors’ Degrees from Bentley College and Suffolk University. He later received both a Master’s Degree and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Bridgewater State College. He was a lifelong learner who always enjoyed learning new things. Milton was an Accountant for many years, then after receiving his Master’s Degree he worked for the Department of Public Health, Division of Drug and Alcohol Rehab. Milton was also a Professor at Boston College, UMass Boston and Dean College. Milton was very active in his temple; he had a wonderful voice and enjoyed singing with his temple choir. He served as President of the Quincy South Shore Jewish Community.
Milton volunteered for a number of different organizations including the Brockton Art Center and the Museum of Science. He was always active in his community and in politics.
He leaves his beloved wife and best friend of 66 years, Arlene; 3 children—Ellen Wolk, Steven Wolk and Susan Wolk-Smith; 4 grandchildren—Tsivya Kirschner, Nessah Smith, Joseph Wolk and Alex Wolk; and 3 great grandchildren—Chloe Wolk, Jake Wolk and Gemma Kirschner.
Milt was a deeply spiritual, compassionate, kind man who will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
