Michael Barry Berkowitz, beloved husband of Nathalie (Meyerhoff) Berkowitz, for almost 53 years, passed away on September 1, 2022. He was the cherished father to Marci (Berkowitz) & Howard Goldowsky and Sheri (Berkowitz) & Jacob Weintraub. Dearest Grandpa to Erika, Samantha, Tyler, and Alexis.

He was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Natalie, and his brother Robert Berkowitz.

Mike was a graduate of Northeastern University. He was talented in so many areas: cooking, writing, drumming, woodworking, building, and creating in general.

Above all, his love of family and friends was immeasurable.

A funeral service will be held at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington St., Canton on Sunday, September 4 at 12:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon.

Donations in Mike’s name can be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute and to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Shiva will be at his former residence, following services until 7:00pm, also on Monday from 1-3:00pm and 5-7:00pm then Tuesday from 2-4:00pm and 6-8:00pm.

    Mike was my best fried for over 65 years, He was loved by me as a brother loves a brother. I will miss him so very much. The stories I could tell about our ventures together would fill a book. He was a beautiful person and was so very generous. Phyllis and I will miss him forever. Nathalie – we are always here for you.
