Lorraine Barbara (Corman) Minsky passed away peacefully on July 14th, 2022 at the age of 85.
Lorraine was born to the late Abraham and Sonya Corman on September 25th, 1936. She lived in Sharon, MA for most of her life until moving to Florida in 1994. She was a proud graduate of Sharon High School and married the love of her life whom she met working at her parents Hotel in 1960, no doubt winning him over with her fabulous smile.
She is survived by her loving husband Burton of 61 years, daughters Phyllis Palumbo (John), Jodi Cuneo (Joseph) and son Glenn. She was the loving and adoring Nana to grandsons Nick Cuneo (Fiancé Rebecca), David Minsky, Bill Cuneo, and Danny Minsky. The youngest of 5 siblings, Lorraine is survived by her brother Bobby Corman and predeceased by her sister Rosita Frieden, and brothers Alby and Eli Corman.
Lorraine enjoyed painting, and traveling the world. She loved telling stories of her travels and her heritage of which she was very proud. Often times her travels were reflected in her artwork.
Lorraine’s greatest treasure was her family. She had so much love to give and was loved by all. Her eyes lit up whenever she saw or talked about her grandsons. You could almost see her heart burst.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 17 at 12:00pm at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street, Canton, MA. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
