Lois Stetson Glass passed away on February 15th, with her family at her side.

Raised in West Newton, the daughter of the late Max and Rose Stetson and sister to the late Harriet Adelman. Married to Frederick Glass on September 4th, 1955 until he passed away on December 23, 2003.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Andrea Glass of Foxboro, Michael and Diane Glass of Wrentham, and Debbie and Stu Kirsch of Clayton, CA. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; Andrew, Matthew and Sarah Glass, Jason, Rina and Brian Kirsch, and Ian Adams.

Lois was a graduate of Newton North High School in 1953 and Brandeis University in 1957 where she was MVP of Women’s Basketball. She went on to entrepreneurial pursuits including co-founder of Enrichment Programs Associates, and a Needham skin care store. An avid golfer and former MA State Champion. She was President of Ladies Golf at Spring Valley Country Club, Needham Golf Club, New Seabury Golf Club and Admirals Cove Golf Club. Early years were spent playing golf in summer, and skiing in winter.

Lois spent many of her later years enjoying winters in Florida and summers on Cape Cod. Boating, clamming, flying, playing bridge and traveling. Her travels took her throughout most of the world, experiencing different cultures. Her children and grandchildren have fond memories of enjoying these pursuits with her.

A graveside service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon, MA on Thursday, February 17th, 2022 at 1:45pm. A Shiva will be held Thursday evening from 7-9 at the home of Andrea Glass. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research, 340 Lemon Ave., #3620, Walnut, CA 91789.
