LANDA, Leonard of Stoughton, formerly of Brockton, passed away peacefully on May 1st , 2020 at 95 years of age. Devoted son of the late Phillip & Lillian Landa. Beloved husband of the late Betty (Grushkin) Landa. Loving father of Martha Silva of Easton, Eleanor Landa of Norton and Robert Landa of Stoughton. Cherished grandfather of Adin Silva. Dear brother of the late Alice Eizenberg and Bernard Landa.
Leonard (Lenny) attended Brockton schools and at the age of 18 joined the army where he earned a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. His passion in life aside from his family and friends was his jewelry business which he started in 1959. After retiring he resided in Palm Beach for half the year and loved serving as his condominium president for 20 years. He will always be known for his exuberance and abundant energy right up until his passing.
A private Graveside Service will take place at Sharon Memorial Park. In light of the Coronavirus situation a celebration of Leonard’s life will be held at a later date for family & friends to gather and share memories of a life well lived.
