Lawrence “Larry” K. Dobkin of Hull, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2023 at the age of 92. Devoted son of Edward & Goldie Dobkin. Beloved husband of Edith “Edie” Wertheim. Loving father of Marilyn Danz and her husband Jim of Cumberland, RI, Sheryl Dobkin and her partner Michael Kravitsky of Wrentham and Jodi Russell and her husband Mike of Weymouth. Cherished grandfather of Gary and his wife Erica, Robyn and her husband Scott, Elyse, Tracey and Amanda. Proud great-grandfather of Emily, Avery, William, Iris and Brooks. Dear brother of Steven Dobkin and his wife Linda of Wellesley and Elaine Thaw and her late husband Ronald of Miami, Florida.

Anyone who knew Larry will remember that he was “Mr. Fix-it”, whether it was cars, TV’s, or home repairs; he did it all. A runner, a bike rider, a smart man. Larry lived a full life, living 30 years after his retirement. Family was everything to Larry, and right to the end, he worried about his wife Edie of 68 years. He was a reliable dad and was loved very much by his grandchildren.

Larry’s funeral service will be held at 1PM, Monday, December 18th at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street in Canton, with the interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in Larry’s memory to Brockton VA Medical Center, c/o: Hospice Palliative Unit (72C), 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
