Julie Ostroff Foster of Wrentham formerly of Braintree passed away peacefully on December 18, 2022 at the age of 56. Beloved wife of David Foster. Adored mother of Seth and Susannah Foster. Cherished daughter of Barbara (Morfield) Ostroff and the late Sidney Ostroff. Dear sister of the late Susan Ostroff Egan (William J. Egan and Ann Bernaccio). Stepmother of Chrystal Pascale and Michelle Foster. Loved by a multitude of friends and many cousins in California and Florida.
Julie was a warrior in her fight against breast cancer while being supported by her lifelong friends Amy Carnicelli, Beth Doherty, Mary Keogh, Jackie Murphy, Kathleen Murphy, Kathy Benharris, and Kathy Brawley, who took turns driving her to every medical appointment for 5 years.
Julie volunteered in the Wrentham Public Schools and coached Wrentham girls’ soccer. She graduated from Suffolk University and went on to earn a Master of Public Administration from George Washington University, where she was president of the MPA society and commencement speaker at graduation. An exceptional sense of humor allowed her to see the bright side in all aspects of her life. She brought laughter and joy to all who knew her.
Julie worked at the New England-Israel Chamber of Commerce where she went on many trade missions to Israel where she met many Israeli leaders including Shimon Perez.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 10AM at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill at 824 Washington Street, Canton, MA with interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street in Sharon.
Memorial Observance (Shiva) will take place at Julie’s late residence in Wrentham following the burial until 5PM, 6:30-9PM and Thursday 1-5PM and 6:30-9PM.
