Jason L. Kana of Coral Springs, FL passed away peacefully on
Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Born in Boston, MA on June 7, 1929,
he was the son of the late Mark and Ida (Goldberg) Kana. Beloved life
partner of the late Lloyd R. Dille. Loving brother of Elinor Pinkofsky, the
late Anne Liberman, and the late Sidney Kana. Cherished Uncle of
Donna Grim, Steven Liberman, and Terri Winslow. He is also survived by
two great-nephews, and a great-great niece. Jason served honorably in
the Army National Guard and the United States Army, achieving the
rank of Sergeant (E-5). Jason also earned a Bachelor degree from
Boston University. Jason was the controller/accountant for an architect
firm and then went into real estate where he worked for many years
while residing in East Hampton, NY. Jay had many interests including
traveling, theater, and opera. Graveside services will take place on
Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 11:00AM at Pride of Jacob Cemetery,
350 Grove Street, West Roxbury, MA. In lieu of flowers, expressions of
sympathy in Jason’s memory may be donated to Alzheimer’s
Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.
