Harvey B. Gershman of Waltham passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023  at 77 years of age. He was the middle son of the late Irving Gershman & Anne (Chorney). The family moved to Brockton where Harvey grew up. Harvey was the beloved husband of Bonnie Gershman. He was the father of Barry Gershman and his wife Kimberley of Florida and Michael Snyder and his wife Nikki of Rhode Island. He was the cherished grandfather of  Erin Gershman, Abigail and Grace Snyder and great-grandfather of Elijah, Jayla, and Eliana. He was the brother of Joel Tattlebaum of  Pennsylvania and the late Edward Gershman. He was the brother-in-law of Wayne Gerber and his wife Kim of Colorado and Howard Gerber and his wife Mary of Dedham. Harvey was an avid golfer and taught Bonnie and Michael to play the game. His passion for golf was so much a part of who he was, that every vacation destination Harvey planned, had to have a golf course so he and Bonnie could pursue their passion  for the game.

A graveside service for Harvey will take place at Sharon  Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon on Monday, June 5th at 1:45 pm. Shiva will be at his late residence following  the service on  Monday through 8pm. Continuing Tuesday from 1pm to 4pm and 6:30pm to 8:30pm and Wednesday from 1pm to 4pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Harvey’s memory may be made to:

    Harvey (Dad) was such a kind man and welcomed me into his family with open arms. I will miss our talks, our texts, his words of encouragement, and most of all, I will miss him.
    Bonnie, Barry, and Michael, I am sorry for this hard loss and love you all.
