Date of Funeral

July 7, 2024

Geraldine C. Goodman of Framingham passed away peacefully on July 3, 2024 surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

Devoted daughter of the late Harry & Alice (Plotnick) Goldman. Loving mother of Stephany Karp and her husband Sheldon of Stoughton, and Bryan Goodman of Framingham. Cherished grandmother of Michael and his wife Amanda, Daniel, Molly and Gabriel. Dear sister of the late Martin Goldman, Phyllis Kirschner, and LeeAnn Roffer, and sister-in-law Anita Alperin. Gerry leaves behind her former husband Robert Goodman along with many cousins, nieces and friends.

Gerry had a nearly 40-year career at Bose Corporation as an executive assistant, which was a perfect fit for her talents of organizing and she planned many corporate events worldwide. She was an avid fan of theatre and enjoyed going to plays in Boston with friends. A lover of art and museums and telling stories about growing up in Chelsea. Always proud that she never missed a day of school.  Gerry was loving, warm, compassionate and smart, and will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Our heartfelt condolences to the family and the Bose friend community.

Gerry was synominous with helping where help was needed, and always with a smile.

Gerry was one of the most reliable assistants I have ever had.

She had “class”, and in spite of her age, was willing to learn about the use of computers and new technology. She was very proactive in her work, and nothing was too small or too big for her.

Her work ethic was an example for everybody.

Gerry was a joy to work with and she will live on as a dear friend in my memory.

I wish the family the strength to overcome their tremendous loss.
