ELEANOR BURKE (Gack) of Hull , formerly of Berkley, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, January 26th, she was 87 years old. She was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Barney & Rose (Shoib) Gack. Eleanor was the beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Burke and was the loving mother of Andrew Burke & his wife Erica of Hull, Lauri Smith & her husband Frank, Rick Burke and Steven Holsberg & his wife Rita. Cherished grandmother of her 10 grandchildren, Chloe, Tommy, Heather, Michelle, Matthew, Erica, Emily, Ashley, Alexandra, and Adriana. Eleanor was especially proud to be the great-grandmother of her great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Harvey Gack. .Eleanor was an integral part of her husband’s several successful business ventures. Eleanor had a passion for Roller Skating and was able to combine her passion with her profession when she was the Owner and Operator of Silver City Skate Land in Taunton.  Eleanor’s greatest joy and pleasure was when she was with her grandchildren. She treasured the time she shared with them. Her funeral services will be held at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill,  824 Washington Street, Canton on Tuesday, January 30th at 12:Noon. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharion. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eleanor’s memory may be made to one of her favorite charities, St.. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105

Service in our chapel on Tuesday,January 30, 2024 at 12:noon- burial to follow at Sharon Memorial Park
