Constance “Connie” Horlink of Milton, MA passed away at home on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the age of 102. The daughter of Samuel and Sarah Ofengand, she was the middle child of five and grew up primarily in Taunton, MA. She married Bernard Horlink in 1953 and raised two daughters in their Milton home where she lived for over 68 years.
Connie was a voracious reader throughout her life, a skilled baker, an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, gardener, and seamstress. But family was her greatest source of pride and joy. She was a devoted wife and mother who was always there to lend an ear, patch a skinned knee, or debate the latest happenings in the world. Connie was loved by all who knew her for her warm gentle spirit and open heart.
She leaves behind her daughters Susan Weinstein and her husband Robert Heckman of Providence, RI, and Joan Tanzer and her husband Bruce of North Easton, MA; her grandchildren, Adam Tanzer; Samantha Smith and her husband Matthew; Eric Weinstein and his wife Rebekah Glickman Simon; Diana Sidman and her husband Gavin; two great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Maya, a sister-in-law, Sigrud Ofengand, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard and her siblings, Ruth, Elaine, Rivienne, and James.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23rd at 1:00 pm at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street, Canton, MA. Burial at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon to follow.
Family and friends are invited to sit shiva (memorial observance) immediately following the burial until sunset on Friday, on Saturday from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m., and Sunday from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the home of Joan and Bruce Tanzer.

February 13, 2026 at 1:15 amJoan, I’m so sorry to learn of your mom’s passing. I was searching for my aunt’s obituary, who just passed at age 100, and saw your mom ‘s face. I remember her fondly from our childhood sleepovers.
May she rest in peace.
