Always up for an adventure, Bonnie was an active volunteer in the Boy Scouts of America, the Natural Resources Trust, and the Boston Athletic Association. An avid gardener, she loved her flowers. Her favorite role, however, was being a mother and nana. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 47 years Bruce Showstack. She is also survived by her three children, Marc Showstack and his partner Susan Anderson of Durham, North Carolina; Suzanne Adams and her husband Ryan of North Reading, Massachusetts; and Robyn Chesner and her husband Joshua, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was a loving nana to Blake and Bryce Adams, and Addisyn Chesner. She was extended close family of Steve and Rosemary Adams, Amy and Patrick Medeiros, and honorary nana to Penny, Mae and Owen. Bonnie is predeceased by her father Burton Orlick.

Bonnie’s funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street in Canton, with the interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park.

It’s so hard to fathom that the light, spirit, and the love of Bonnie could ever be dimmed. I believe she tried her best in everything she did. Bonnie loved Bruce and the kids as much as any wife/mother could. It seemed that everything she did was for them and to make their lives better. Although it has been years since we’ve seen her, the echo of her laughter can still be heard and the fun and laughter we shared will always be remembered and missed. Rest in Peace Bonnie, Her family and friends will forever be surrounded by her love. Our love and condolences to Bruce, Marc, Suzanne, and Robyn. If ever there is a need…. With Love.
