Bernard Block of Stoughton, MA formerly of Brooklyn, NY, entered into rest on Monday, November 7, 2022 at the age of 87. For 66 years “Bernie” was the beloved husband of Norma (Satlin) Block. Loving father of Beth Bronstein and her husband Marc of Walpole and Caren Block and her wife Jennifer Kroll of Arlington. Devoted grandfather of Jordan Bronstein, and Kyle Bronstein of blessed memory. Dear brother of both the late David Block and Miriam Scholnick. Brother-in-law of Rose Block, the late Arnold Scholnick, Harriet Nathanson, and the late Jerome Nathanson. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 10 at 10:00AM at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street, Canton. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.

Memorial observance will be held at the home of Beth and Marc Bronstein, following services until 5:00PM.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, remembrances in Bernie’s memory may be donated to Alzheimer’s Association, American Heart Association, Jewish Family & Children’s Services, or a charity of your choice.
