On July 26, 2026 at age 94 Barbara Shreiar passed peacefully with her family at her side.
Barbara was preceded in passing by her parents, Russian immigrants Michael and Pauline Furman, her 2 brothers Saul and George Furman and the love of her life and husband of 43 years Albert M Shreiar. They started their married life and raised their 3 children in Sharon, MA and later retired to DelRay Beach, FL.
She leaves her daughter Sandi Canning and her husband Tom Canning, her daughter Beth Ann DelaCruz and her husband Dennis DelaCruz and their 2 children Ethan and Julia DelaCruz, and her son Barry Shreiar, his wife Janet Shreiar and their son Alexander Nicholas Shreiar. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 12:45 pm at Sharon Memorial on Wednesday, July 29th. Those attending services should meet behind the administration building on the cemetery grounds prior to services.
Memorial observance details will be provided at the conclusion of Wednesday’s service.
