Annette G. Pollack of Braintree, passed away of natural causes on Thursday, January 19, 2023. She was 67 years old. Born in Boston, Annette Pollack grew up in Randolph and managed to combine careers as a Licensed Practical Nurse and Certified Public Accountant. Finally, in 1991, she decided to follow her passion to become a Stand-up Comedian. After attending comedy classes and workshops she landed spots in comedy shows around Boston. Her initial success as a performer led her to promote other comedians and soon began producing comedy shows at many venues all over Boston’s South Shore for 25 years.
MS Pollack. was the devoted daughter of the late Murray and Florence Pollack and her late sister Linda Rose. She is survived by her brother, Robert, and his wife Marion, of Lawrenceville, NJ. She is also survived by her nephew, Jon Pollack of Los Angeles, her nieces, Susan Pollack of Mill Valley, CA and Bethany Roderer of Silver Spring, MD. She was the long-time companion of Brian Hansen and her beloved dog, Zooey.
Funeral services will be held at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington St., Canton, on Tuesday, January 24th at 10:30AM. Burial will follow at the Mohliver Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury. A Memorial celebration will be held in the Canton Room of the Hilton Dedham, 25 Allied Drive, Dedham, MA from 4 – 7:00PM.
