Howard Crash May 27, 2026

Date of Funeral

June 1, 2026

Howard Crash, 79, of Chestnut Hill, passed away surrounded by the family he loved so deeply. Born in London, Howard carried with him throughout his life a love of literature, history, wit, and old-world charm that never left him.

Howard spent much of his professional life working in finance, but ultimately found his true calling in the antique business. He possessed a deep appreciation for beautiful and unusual pieces of history, and took great joy in discovering objects with stories to tell.

Howard was a true animal lover, with a particular soft spot for horses and dogs— especially bulldogs. He was also a championship poker player who loved the strategy and camaraderie of the game.

Howard found his greatest joy in his family. He was a devoted father to his daughter Penny, a beloved father-in-law to Dan, and an adoring grandfather to Abbey, Jack, and Ella, who brought endless pride and happiness to his life.

He loved classic black-and-white films, the novels of Charles Dickens, and returned often to his favorite book, The Source, whose rich history and timeless themes mirrored everything he loved most.

Howard will be remembered for his intelligence, humor, passion for beautiful things, fierce love of family, and vibrant personality. He leaves behind a lifetime of stories, memories, and people who loved him dearly.
