She and Dick were among the founders of The Derryfield School in Manchester and played key roles in establishing the Manchester Regional Foundation of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.
Fran was a proud supporter of numerous civic and philanthropic organizations, including the Moore Center, Palace Theater, Breakthrough Manchester, the Mayhew Program and CASA. She and Dick were honored in 2004 by The Moore Center for their philanthropy and positive impact on the community.
Warm, gracious and determined, Fran will be remembered for her sweet smile, quiet strength and unwavering commitment to her family and community.
Fran is survived by her sons Neal S. Winneg of Boston, MA, Robert D. Winneg of Sudbury, MA, and Douglas M. Winneg of Wellesley, MA, and her six grandchildren. She also leaves her cherished brother Mortin Mallin and was predeceased by her brother Arthur.
