Melvin S. Weiner of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Randolph, passed away on Friday, June 30th, 2023, at 93 years of age. He was the devoted son of the late Harry and Betty (Goldberg) Weiner. Mel was the beloved husband of Anita (Lubin) Rovner. He was the loving father of Mark Weiner & his wife Jane of Stoughton, Jeffrey Weiner & his wife Leslie of Norton and the late Charlene Plati and her surviving husband, Jay. Cherished grandfather of Scott Weiner & his wife Jessica, Randy Weiner, Courtney St. Gelais & her husband Tyler, Stepfather of Denise Sutherland & her husband Todd and Samara Bagley & her husband Joseph. Step-grandfather of Rob Cohen, Justin Bagley, Jacob Bagley, and Ethan Sutherland and his cherished great-grandchildren Addison, Ryan, Jordan, and Cameron. Dear brother of Martin Weiner and the late Rosalyn Goldblatt. Mel’s family expresses its heartfelt appreciation for the many years of dedicated love, devotion and support his “special” niece, Marsha Beckoff, and her husband Marc provided to Mel and his family.
A funeral service will be held at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street, Canton on Thursday, July 6 at 12:Noon. Interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA.
