In Loving Memory of Steven H. Goldman

Steven H. Goldman, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on January 27 at the age of 80. He leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories, love, and laughter that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him.

Steve was born in Boston, MA, and graduated from Boston Technical High School. He served in the Army Reserves for several years, during which time he met the love of his life, Merle.

He is survived by his loving wife, Merle Goldman, his daughters, Elise Teasdale and Jill Carroll, and her husband, Jamie Carroll. Steve was a proud grandfather to Zack Teasdale, Courtney Teasdale, Nolan Carroll, and William Carroll. Steve cherished his grandchildren immensely, always taking the time to actually get on the floor and play with them. He also leaves behind his dear sister, Gigi Shoib, as well as his close-knit nieces and nephews: Lorrie Sardiello, Cindy Matus, Greg Trainor, Tara Hauber and Matthew Trainor.

Steve loved the finer things in life and always had an eye for the newest and hottest items. Whether it was a gadget, a piece of tech, or something unique, he enjoyed the thrill of discovering and owning the latest must-have. He had a young spirit and a love for tattoos, which reflected his fun and adventurous nature. He was known for being silly, goofy, and full of laughter, always finding ways to make his grandchildren and those around him smile.

He found immense joy in the company of his family and friends. His passion for cooking brought people together, filling his home with warmth, delicious aromas, and shared stories. Whether perfecting a recipe or preparing a feast, his love for food was an expression of his generosity and creativity.

Steve had a deep love for Cape Cod, where he spent countless cherished moments by the beach and on the water. Sailing was a true passion—offering him both adventure and tranquility. Music was another constant in his life, with jazz holding a special place in his heart. Whether listening to a classic tune or discovering something new, music was always a source of joy and inspiration.

In his younger years, Steve was a talented photographer, beginning his career as a wedding photographer, capturing life’s special moments through his lens. His creative journey eventually led him to establish Arena Graphics, a company specializing in producing and installing signage for sporting arenas.

A devoted New England sports fan, Steve had an unwavering loyalty to his beloved Boston Bruins. He cheered for them with passion, celebrating victories and standing by them through every season.
