Selma Lennick, daughter of the late Eva (Kaminsky) and Harry Grand died on April 25, 2025. Selma lived and grew up in the West End of Boston.
She had an artistic talent that was demonstrated in high school and later as a collaborator with her Uncle Bernie in Ashton Photography Studios. Later in life, Selma worked for Preterm, a provider of women’s health care.
She leaves behind two sons, Michael and Charles and daughter in law Ellen. Cherished grandchildren Evan and his wife Natalie, Jessica and her partner Doug Pensak and great grandchildren Joshua and Lucy. All will greatly miss her.
Selma set a wonderful example for working hard and leaving the world a better place.
A small graveside service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon on Wednesday, April 30, at 10:45AM. Those attending services should meet behind the administration building on the cemetery grounds prior to services.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in Selma’s memory to the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc. (plannedparenthood.org / 800.430.4907) or a charitable organization of your choice.
