Rosalyn (Appel) Blumenthal of Sharon passed away on August 20, 2021 at 99 years of age. Devoted daughter of Louis and Jennie Appel. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Blumenthal. Loving mother of John Blumenthal, Gary Blumenthal (June), Mark Blumenthal (Alice). Cherished grandmother of Rachel Blumenthal and her husband Joel Edinberg, Jeremy Blumenthal, Scott Blumenthal and his fiance’ Christina. Cherished great-grandmother of Isaac Edinberg. Dear sister of the late Anna Gilman (Bill), Samuel Cruson (Esther), Esther Zweigman (Ben), Lee Arkin (Jack), Minnie Smith (Sidney), George Appel (Polly). 14 nieces and nephews. The chapel service for Rosalyn will be held at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Tuesday, August 24th at 10 am. Interment will be at Sharon Memorial Park immediately following the service. Memorial observance will be held via Zoom at a time to be announced. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
