Rhona Lipman December 12, 1935 - December 16, 2021

Rhona Lipman, also known as Ronni, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 86 years of age.

She was born and raised in Dorchester daughter of Robert and Lena Krakofsky. She graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke Girls High School and studied music at the New England Conservatory, as well as attending the Chandler Secretarial School in Boston. Ronni married her husband Gilbert in Boston and moved to Brockton where she raised her two daughters.

Ronni played piano and sang at numerous lounges throughout the Boston Metro area and Cape Cod during the 60’s and 70’s. Upon retiring from entertaining, she became a Purchasing Agent for several companies in Walpole and Avon. She subsequently moved to California with her husband for two years and worked for a Mobile Imaging Company in Pasadena. In 1990, Ronni and her husband moved to Southern Florida where she worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Clerk for the City of Dania Beach, FL. She retired after 10 years. In 2005 she and her husband moved to Pembroke, MA to live with her daughter Jayne.

Ronni was an avid reader, loved music specifically jazz and loved to travel within the U.S. and the world. She felt spiritually moved upon her return from a two-week vacation to Israel in 2011.

She is survived by her husband Gilbert of 67 years, younger brother Martin Krakofsky of Florida, daughters Susan Breite and her husband Harold of Greenfield, MA, and Jayne Lipman of Pembroke, MA, grandchildren Joshua Breite and wife Cyndi of Melrose, MA, and Jessica Descant and husband Drake of Holyoke, MA, as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
