Phyllis Miller of Sharon (wintered FL) entered into rest on Wednesday July 31, 2024.
Phyllis was born in Boston and grew up in Roxbury, the daughter of the late Jacob and Lillian Solomon. She is preceded in death by her husband Marc Miller. Phyllis is survived by her children Janet Byrne (John), Jon Miller, and Pamela Miller. Phyllis is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Rebecca Peltzer-Miller (Christian Li) and Alexander Costa Miller.
Phyllis attend Boston Teachers College and had a passion for education. She enjoyed a career as a Hebrew School teacher for several years.
Phyllis was a strong-willed woman who had numerous simple passions from watching PBS miniseries to doting on her grandchildren with love. She enjoyed tasty food especially kugel which was a signature staple at family gatherings and visits. Phyllis also enjoyed taking walks, reading, HGTV, and daily phone calls with close friends. She never missed and episode of Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy.
May Phyllis’s memory always be a blessing to those who knew and loved her. Services will take place at Sharon Memorial Park in Sharon, MA on Sunday August 4, 2024, at 2:30 PM. All those who will be in attendance will meet behind the administration building.
